I hate all the layers of mediation between the performance and the medium and the performance. I used to feel that way about cassettes vs. vinyl, but that was before software got involved.

Hmm. Sounds like I'm a little short of live music in my life.

But uh, that is an awesome-looking production right there! Mail me one?

If it helps, Fritz, what I do with my more recent stuff is record LIVE onto cassette....then push that back into a thicket of machines, some digital, some analogue, then record back onto tape....then edit, edit, edit, edit, via various processes. I try to keep it as live and analogue as poss. but digital editing is just so much easier (tho I use pasue-button when I can)....

You commented just as I sent that last response to bed lol!): I'll send ya some O-I '73 stuff soome as I get it where I want it - it's VERY different to the Oneiric Hardware stuff...more in the realm of conceptaully-navigated live-jams...

Just back from a Junkcrunch show: bedtime, I think...
