KID SHIRT BTI INTERVIEW PT 2

With everything else going on at the moment, I hadn't got round to linking to the second part of the Beyond The Implode interview with me.

Many thanks to Martin for being such a sport and taking the time and effort to do this, and for hosting my various windbag pronouncements. An uberdude no-prize is currently zigzagging its way thru Q-Space towards his Punk Rock Bunker.

Meanwhile, Matt Badham's currently doing a piece on me for - ye Gods! - an upcoming issue of the Judge Dredd Megazine - cheers to Matt for his time and patience! More info on that, as and when. I've got this terrible fear I'm going to turn into the internet equivalent of Peter Ustinov now, constantly doing interviews and appearing on chat-shows without really ever having done anything...lol.

I'd better get busy, then.

Back to work!

>Peter Ustinov

I am 100% ready to watch an episode of Hollywood Squares featuring you and Cloudboy and Farmer Glitch and Pete Um and The Doozer and Darren Bauler and Billy Prion and Magda Gabor and an anthropomorphic pack of Silk Cut. Commence shooting now.

"is there anyone Matt hasn't interviewed lately?" - LOL. Yeah, they've run out of real comics creators; now down to Div. Z cardboard cut-out people like me. Still, I do give a pretty good interview, even tho I say so meself...

I'm on the phone to my agent even as we speak.

(Actually, I quite fancy a turn on Blankety-Blank with some of my blooging and avant.noise pals....)

I'm in -- it's always been my goal to be my generation's Paul Lynde.

What about Family Fortunes? After all the blogosphere is just like one big family.
And I'm here to tell you that Matt hasn't interviewed me lately. I wrote & drew a very cutting edge comic strip that was WAY ahead if it's time and made Alan Moore's stuff look like it was written by a pig fucker.
Too short for a trade paperback though.

Family Fortunes would be good:

West Country Bloggers Vs Cockneys lol.

"I wrote & drew a very cutting edge comic strip that was WAY ahead if it's time and made Alan Moore's stuff look like it was written by a pig fucker."

LOL! That'd be Sherman Adverse. A strip named after a font.

That last caption still cracks me up: "Available in mid-Fuckuary".

I was toying with the idea of doing another Human Debris - 30 years after the last issue lol.

"Still 20p!"

Not that I've got time to even think about such a thing, but maybe the world needs Human Debris more than ever in 2010.

Human Debris #3.
I am so fucking up for that.

I think we should do it this year....30 years on from last ish.

Cheap printing on off-green paper, exactly like before. Either you or Stodges do the cover - cos me and Lurch did one each.

Do you wanna do Sherman Adverse Pt 2....? I think you should.

Let's get Ivesy and Mark Webb in too, as well as the four of us. I really think Mark should do some weird penguin- or bat-watching column. "Birding with The Skipper" lol.

Steve's got a bunch of things I gave him in the early 90's for an aborted zine he never did - we had a page of crustie jokes - we should run that - and I reviewed a Three Degrees album lol. We should keep the tone exactly as it was before....just us goofing-off lol.

I am most definately in.
I'm thinking of possibly a made-up interview with Peters & Lee.

Man you have a good memory - I still have a box of contributions for said aborted zine - including some stuff from flinty I believe - count me in !!

Yeah, we should def. do this....

Would be really funny - grown men doing a fanzine 30 years on! I've been talking to Stodges a bit lately, so will try'n get him in on it too.

LURCH!!!!????

You should try and actually interview Peters & Lee in real life. Isn't one of them dead?

At 8:37 pm, Blogger Dominic Zero said...

Yeah, either Peters or Lee is dead. Or possibly both.
I'll do an interview via a medium.
Glad Stodges is talking to you- or Ben Trendy as we should now refer to him - haven't heard from him in ages. I should send him some more Susan Storm porn & maybe he'll reply.

"Welcome Home" - The Peters & Lee story.

Check out Wikipedia: He's dead. She's married to Rick Price of Wizzard, who she's recorded LPs with. We should run with this.

Ben Trendy!
