Yeah, a perennial favourite that never pales.

I was lucky enuff to see them back in the day. At The Colston Hall, as it happens. Another circle closes.

I'm actually quite jealous. The only thing I've got is the 'We Oppose All Rock n Roll' CD, which I nabbed about 10 years the scratchy, echoey, vaulty stuff like 'Nobody's Scared', 'Don't Split It', 'Chain Smoking' etc too...and cracking version of 'Head Held High'! Weirdly enough it soundtracked me escaping from Parcelforce and some other life-changing stuff, so I'll always be fond of them...(verification: redin)

'Nobody's Scared', 'Don't Split It'...awesome stuff!

I think I read a recent interview with Godard saying he'd remixed? re-recorded? an album worth of those songs "as they were meant to sound".....I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing...I'm got a mental picture of a digitally recorded album that sounds the same as everyone else. Please tell me I'm wrong.
