GATEKEEPER Vs GRILZA

Thanks to the mighty Gatekeeper for giving me a preview of "Shade Darker," one of his forthcoming collabs w/ Bath MC Grilza.

"We're runnin'/like internal combustion/Gatekeeper cru/a South-West production...Bristol Bass-line/Man, you don' know...know...know... know..."

Lurching synth-line, like some sort of lop-sided hemispherical vehicle rolling over a Mad Max desertscape; sour chamois-soft ice-cream strings - detuned Detroit chords surging by overhead, like sped-up time-lapse footage of clouds...a wet squirting sound, like a Drexyian aquanaut slipping overboard into dark water. Just what's going on here, exactly? - Dub meets Drum n Bass meets Detroit meets Bass-Line...

SILVESTER ANFANG II HIT THE UK

Silvester Anfang II, my favourite Flemmish Doom-Psychsters hit the UK later in the month: expect plenty of drones and tones and naked wimmin dancing round stone monoliths. It's brol, innit!

They'll be playing as a 5-piece (hence the name-change!) with a line-up that includes Edgar Wappenhalter, Willhammer, Klappende Herre, Father Sloow and Hellvete. Hopefully, I'll be there, cheering them on on the 27th.

Info, as follows:
