Discharge 4 is now slowly winding down over the next few days, as most of its contributors prepare to migrate across to its newest and grandest site (so far): Discharge 5.

Discharge 5 goes live on December 31st.

It will feature many of the writers and artists from Discharge4, along with some, er, fresh blood. Thanks to everyone who's been working hard to find a home for The Dark Angels of Discharge - I know Ruela in particular has been slogging away at this, with support, advice and input from some of the others.

I think I'm right in saying that Jaan was involved in putting together the Discharge5 MySpace. Apologies if I've missed anyone - feel free to correct any exclusions - I know that Aaron Held, CJ, Murmurists and others have been toiling away too, carrying out a mixture of admin roles to keep things creatively lubricated.

Next year, the Discharge meme extrudes itself into physical space with the appearance of the first Discharge chapbook. CJ is compiling/non-editing this one - I think it's 24 pages - with a publishing/design assist from some other folks. The plan is to have a rotating non-hierarchical editorial role, so that different members of the team edit individual editions of a series of chapbooks.

The world will soon be ours. Bwah-ha-ha!

Not sure what we intend to do with it though.

Is there a way I can submit something to this or other future Discharges?

Grant - the chapbook is for members of the Discharge team only - but if you're interested in regularly contributing to the site, I'll email you about the group and how it works....
