KASAI ALLSTARS

A new Wyrd World piece: Me on the wonderful Congolese super-group Kasai Allstars (who I've mentioned here before) and, uh, Bo Diddley. Includes a phone-interview (via translator) with band-spokeman "Mi Amor", which was a total buzz for me - I wish I could have spoken to Keith Hudson in '76 a month after I first heard "Pick a Dub", or Sun-Ra the first time I tuned out to "Heliocentric Worlds" - albums that, back in the day, spun my head round in a similar way.

So, yeah, the album is totally recomended.
