The latest issue of on-line Uber-Lit magazine Otoliths has just gone live, with a couple of pieces by myself.
One's a (for lack of a better phrase) neo-Surrealist text-piece called "Magnetic North" and the other is a detail from one of my oils plus some textspew called "Lipstick Mushrooms in the Church of Lice" (which has subsequently been word-bended, rmx'd and ended up as lyric-fodder for a recent Ice Bird Spiral track: 'specially the phrase "Green Bone detector in The Church of Infinite Wives"). I really had no idea what a big deal it was getting accepted by Otoliths; being a bit of a newbie to this scene, I didn't realise the high regard in which this mag is held...it's really fab stuff, so I'm xtremely chuffed to be included.
I'm a big fan of Matina's visual pieces (She's a fellow Discharge contributor), so lovely to see her stuff here...
Yeah, the contributor's list is a virtual who's who of, uh, something-or-other...some heavy-hitters and seriously talented bods onboard here:
