SING, HARPY!

LORD DEPTH MIXED BY THE COWARD MIXED BY FARMER GLITCH

Wow. The Farmer's taken Lord Depth mixed by The Coward and retwisted it into uncanny new shapes...really digging the eeirie minimalism thing that he's got going on here, that slow, flat Sinewave pulse: I was listening to this in bright late May sunshine, but my hairs went up on end and I couldn't stop thinking of creaky attic cobwebs...

The Farmer's a pro, I'm tellin' ya. A veteran of a thousand Arts Council sound festivals and sonic installations. There's not much he couldn't mic up!

Check out: Lord Death Rave (FG Bulb Mix)

Does anyone fancy picking up the baton and running with this, maybe remixing the remix and turning this into some sort of on-going audio chain-letter? If we did get a chain running with this, I'd prob. put the mixes in sequence onto a CDr and send it out to regular readers, maybe. I was vaguely toying with getting a micro record-label going later this year, maybe this might be a cool place to start: a mini-project that some of you folks could join in with. Open to any genre/style of remix. Lemme know what you think...

Interesting (and only right) that there are prob. still faint, dying dwarf star traces of V/VM's "Death of Rave" project present in this as atom-thin slivers of 3rd-generation samples; it's almost as if his monumental 356 Project has taken on some new, on-going spectral half-life...
