No, not Simon, Burt...

Still mental busy, but been indulging meself in a mini 70s Burt Fest. between bouts of working. "Hooper" is fantastic fun and presumably the inspiration for "The Fall Guy" w/ Lee Majors. I looove all those 1970's Yeeehaw! Good Ol' Boys films about truckers, stunt-men, moonshine smugglers, muscle-car racers, rodeo riders, etc - DeepSouthSploitation, the anti-matter twin of Blacksploitation, tho we watched Peckinpah's fabulous "Convoy" a few days ago and cheered as all the truckers lined up to save their black mate, driving their trucks into the jail-house to free him from the clutches of racist, pistol-whippin' deputies...Yeeee-Hah!

Annnnd, let's not forget: Reynolds was the inspiration for Argentinian underground group Anla Courtis explained it to me: the 'D' is silent...

Actually been to Jupiter FLA where Burt lives. There's a Burt park and a Burt museum.
Unfortunately we were on a clock & didn't get to go.
I still have dreams of what the gift shop must've been like.
