MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU

I've mentioned before about how 'Ardkore never died in the South-West, here's some more evidence:

(Click on the image if you can't read this...): "In a town called Yeovil in a galaxy far, far away..." LOL!

Nick name-checked the recent ish of Mixmag that highlighted the Bristol Dubstep scene, but he missed, or rather didn't comment on, the article a page or two earlier that bigged up the South-West 'Arkore 'Nuum...it's part of a musical Bermuda Triangle that giftwraps an area from Shepton Mallet down thru Somerset into Devon and as far
South(-West) as the tip of Cornwall...(As you move northwards towards Bristol, things twist more towards Drum n Bass and the dubbier end of the spectrum)...I'd like to believe that things gen-u-inely ain't moved on in 15 years, but that's actually a London mediacentric view of Wessex and Kernow that consistently miscasts us as hicks: the truth is that W/Cunt 'ArkKore is a multilimbed Post-HardTrance beast that bears little resemblance to the mid-90s ancestral-forms that were touchstones for the likes of Woebot and Simon Reynolds...

well i did mention in passing 'the popularity of Hard Dance raves in the south west', but as it's something i have no firsthand experience of, i couldn't possibly comment!
