Just in from Paul of Death Chants:

"Hey folks. Just wanted to let you know that we've got got some shows in the next couple weeks and here are the facts:

Saturday, 3/18/06 - at Sangha in Takoma Park, MD with IKA [starts at 8pm, 7014 Westmoreland Avenue -- Takoma Park, MD - 20912 ]

Saturday, 3/25/06 - at 611 Florida Ave. in Washington, DC with Apothecary Hymns, Function and Coach Fingers.

Saturday, 4/08/06 - at Bard College [Smog] with Marissa Nadler

I'm confident that these are going to be some darn swell shows. I've got a ton of fuses for my modular system, so you can be sure that you will receive the full scope of my cosmic array of bombastic mindsound exportations. Also Rafi's got this amazing delay unit whose hazy waves of feedback will plate your skull with gold. Maybe we'll even serve you garbanzos. The future is an open sky."

Yeah, so if you're in the area, people, then go down and check these guys out...they're pretty darn fab...

btw: Coach Fingers is a No Neck Blues Band side-project, and Function are Australian, I think...I'm guessing IKA is the 'electronic' outfit, not the Post-Hardcore band from Mexico w/ a similar name, though that could be fun too...

Good luck to DFA's own Tim 'Two Pints ' Goldsworthy, DJin' in Brighton tonight, I believe...and then in Kings Cross, London on saturday at Our Disco with the 20JFG boys...
