MASTERS OF THE UNCANNY (SLIGHT RETURN)

And, lest we forget: legendary Magician poodles.

Some sort of meta-conceptual continuality starting to (finally) take shape around here.

you'd be delighted to know that the swedish-tunisian nu-wonderboy author Hassen Kemiri(sp?)'s last novel take its main narrative from the disastrous accident where Siegfried (or was it Roy?) got accidentally mutilated by the couple's own pet tiger-

but linking the action/scratching of the tiger to the perpetual bitter/restless mood/itch of the 2nd generation of young immigrants, not content with always having to be "second best" in society, an anger bubbling under and which can spark unpredictable consequences...

Siegfried (or was it Roy?)"...

Who can say for sure. Apparently, even they're not sure wh/ one of them got mauled.

Is that the same Hassen Kemiri whose novel "Prince Charming" linked Adam Ant's booze-fuelled breakdown in 2002 w/ rising levels of depression and alcoholism in the Icelandic whaling community...?

Oh no...that was another Heather's (not Locklear) fault. She did that to Adam, she did.

I think I'm going to go to bed early before I spin out of control. I'm fulla mischief. Absolutely bustin' with it.

I'm much calmer today. Jane Blonde, master of cheap pastiche has gone back to bed. I'm just Cookie Mueller now. Sigh.

Bugger...blogger is really playing up tonight...

I didn't mean to hurt your tiger...actually....I didn't hurt him....he's lovely actually. Although I think that he looks like he's been fed something in that pic....and perhaps his eyes have been sellotaped open....like they used to do to the hamster's legs to keep him on the raft in 'Tales from the Riverbank.' Petrified hamsters drifting down a river....
