AND ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST...

And this, just in: Ol' Dirty Bastard of Wu Tang has gone and croaked too. Heart attack in the studio, apparently.

STEPPED ON A RAINBOW

RIP: Carl Wayne of The Move, responsible (in part) for "I Can Hear the Grass Grow" (recently covered by The Fall), the frankly deranged "Fire Brigade" and (my personal favourite) "Blackberry Way". The Move, of course, also spawned Roy "Wizzard" Wood and Jeff "ELO" Lynne. And I may be wrong, trivia fans, but I think they were also managed by Sharon Osbourne's dad.

And, Rest in Khaos: Jhon Balance of Coil who also recently departed this planet for a more brightly-coloured place. No doubt, there'll be dozens of obits for him by the end of the evening, but John Effay's is a darn good place to start.
